Are you getting Streaked lines in the printer output? If the lines are perpendicular to the direction of the paper through the printer, then you need to follow these diagnostic steps to resolve this error.

This could be a defect in the printer or paper jam in the HP printer of the ink levels are low.

The streaked lines could occur in any of these situations. So, you may need to resolve every one of these problems.

First, you need to check the ink levels using these steps.

  • Open Control Panel and then click on the Devices and Printers, right-click on the product and select preferences.
  • Now, go to the service tab and click on the Service this device and the printer toolbox will open.
  • Now, you have to click on the Estimated Ink Levels tab. A graphic will show you the ink levels in the printer.

If it is caused by a paper jam, then you need to remove the complete paper from the machine and try to print again.

If there is any software related problem, then you might need to download and install the HP printer driver in the system to fix the issue. New drivers always fix the problems faced in computers.
